Julian Haines Bowls is a specialist lawn bowls retailer situated on the South Coast of England. The business has been operating for nearly 20 years, with most sales being generated directly through the shop. Mail order was provided with customers ordering from a printed price list sent out once a year.

Elooli.com were asked to provide an instantly recognisable brand image, and build a website to provide an online presence.

A strong, easily identifiable colour scheme was selected. These colours were retained throughout the business providing a uniform look. We utilised a lot of white space in all the designs to keep the both the site and paperwork clean and open.

Having researched other lawn bowls sites, elooli.com recognised that a well run discussion forum was not available anywhere else, and suggested that this would bring in lot's of repeat visits to the website. Two years on, the Julian Haines Bowls – Discussion Forum' is the largest and most popular lawn bowls forum on the Internet. The forum currently boasts over 1200 members and nearly 150,000 messages - it continues to grow with every day.

A full e-commerce system was implemented and the store now holds over 200 products. The introduction of online shopping has significantly increased revenue and has cemented the business as a leading provider of lawn bowls equipment within the UK.
